Course Objectives:
Students will be able to transfer and apply the strategies taught within this course to gain self-confidence and increase their academic success. Students will learn who they are as learners and apply that knowledge to utilize their areas of strength and address their needs. Material covered will be relevant and practical. It will become the students’ “toolbox for success” when applied consistently. Time will be set aside, each class, for students to work on their homework and have assistance when needed.

October: Student Learner Profile/Resiliency
November: Memory-Study Techniques
December/Jan: Test taking tips-stress reduction
The student mark will be based on the following:
In class work 50%
Projects 20%
Final 30%
Class Schedule: 45 Minutes Course Work
