Most photographs are taken from the normal vantage point of the photographer. What that means is that a lot of shots are taken from an angle that starts at about 5-6 feet, then moves from there (See below).
This is fine. However, some of the most interesting photos are taken from a unique (sometimes even strange) vantage point. For example, a pet dog would have different vantage points than a person
These different points of view can create awesome photo opportunities, especially the extreme angles. It often creates a skewed perspective and creates really interesting compositions. Objects and people often look taller and sometimes even a bit imposing. Check out some of the examples below . . .
You will have to get creative and think of some unique subjects and angles. You might also have to get a little dirty. Don’t be afraid to get right down on the floor. Explore with depth-of-field and lighting to enhance your image.

- Take at least 10 (more is better, PRACTISE!) low angle/pet’s eye view shots.
- Be sure to consider composition, exposure, depth-of-field
- Adjust them in Photoshop
